About
Greg Gerstner is an award-winning Senior Creative Director, Copywriter and strategic thinker with nearly 20 years of experience creating brand-building campaigns for some of the world’s most respected companies. He is currently an SVP / Senior Creative Director at BBDO NY, where he leads the FedEx account with his partner, Banks. Previously, they lead the Pedigree account.
Prior to joining BBDO in 2013, Greg worked full-time at the NFL, TBWA Chiat Day, Cliff Freeman & Partners, McCann, DDB and most recently at Ogilvy, where he launched the IBM Sports platform and led the IBM Midmarket team.
Greg’s work has been consistently recognized by some of the advertising industry’s most prestigious award shows – including Cannes and The One Show. Though honored by this recognition, he believes that campaigns that win over award-show judges and those that win over consumers should not be mutually exclusive.
Raised in NY and NJ, Greg graduated from Villanova University with a BA in English literature before spending two years in Atlanta at the Portfolio Center School for Advertising. Greg currently lives in Jersey City, NJ, with his wife, son and two dogs.
